Jesus Christ isn't coming back

No.16730359 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
>"Truly I tell you, this generation [greek: genea] will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away."

>—Matt. 24:34-35; Mark 13:30-31; Luke

>"...there are some standing here, which shall not taste death, till they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom."

>—Matt 16:28

>"For we did not follow cleverly devised myths when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we had been eyewitnesses of his majesty. For he received honor and glory from God the Father when that voice was conveyed to him by the Majestic Glory, saying, 'This is my Son, my Beloved, with whom I am well pleased.' We ourselves heard this voice come from heaven, while we were with him on the holy mountain."

>—2 Peter 1:16–18

Jesus said that he would come back within the lifetimes of some (but not all) of his disciples. He's about 1950 years late. I think it's safe to say believers have been duped. He ain't coming.
