Like most leftists i support gun control. But i have a very specific and taboo reason for supporting it that i wish more leftists were on board with. I support stricter background checks because i want to see them used to restrict gun ownership to those within the status quo because currently the left is the status quo but the right have all the guns so if the status quo can get all the guns that means the left will have them which means we will win the inevitable second civil war
