i said a couple weeks ago that i would rate modern warfare 2 maps so im finally getting around to it

anyway i pick afghan for the first because i hate it enough
its a shitty map but also for some reason i dont really mind playing in it ill get to that later
its just too open and too big
u get faggots shooting at u from the other side of the map from nowhere while you dont have anybody on ur team anywhere near you
like its genuinely rare to see teammates on that map if ur not right at the spawn wave
ok maybe not but it feels like it
anyhow, despite being open its still full of bottlenecks you have to walk through to get to the middle or where anybody is
and anybody can just camp those bottlenecks from a million miles away because theres so little cover, so they do
it feels like you just have to get lucky to be able to walk around, i probably havent ever gotten more than care package on afghan ever in my life cause if you actually move around youre guaranteed to die to some retard from the other side of the map
i think all it comes down to is just who sees who first
because its so open and anybody can take pretty much any sightline, most fights are just you getting killed before even seeing the person who shot u, or even if you noticed them it being too late
sure the first shot advantage is a thing in any map, but in ones like afghan its different because youre simply not gonna be able to react to whos shooting
if its an overall smaller one like skidrow then even if you get shot first then you have a chance of reacting in time and winning still
but in afghan whoever is shooting you is probably going to be a speck on your screen and youll be dead before youre even able to notice them, all it comes down to is who notices the other one first, its like playing arma in cod
ig this really only applies to the middle of the map but the rest of it is no less cancer

the cliffside is retarded because every single time the person who loses is the one that rushes
its designed in a way so that there really is not much way for you to win if you rush and try to kill whoevers watching the corners ur coming from and that sucks, depending on what side youre from you have to be moving upwards or down and that both makes it way easier for you to get shot and shoot at whoevers there
also since its an open area its really easy to just get flashed/semtexed and thats cancer
ive never seen anybody manage to move up the cliffside if there were more than one person they have to fight lol
u either try to stun/catch people off guard or die so its just a more uncomfortable hallway basically
little chokepoints like that are in a lot of maps sure but they tend to be in a shape so that the rusher has a chance of winning still, not here
anyhow its a smaller chunk of the map so it wouldnt even really matter either way
the grassy side is also shit, u barely fight anyone in it because of how the spawns are and if you do theyre going to kill you because its fucking impossible to see from the retarded head-high bushes they decided to place in there, and thats assuming you dont get killed the instant u arrive there from a dude standing on high ground or peeking it from halfway across the map
so basically both other sides of the map besides the middle are just camping spots and thats retarded. only way for u to move is to depend on luck and have nobody looking where ur coming from because ur most likely going to die if they are, its just the way afghan is designed
the grassy side also leads into the bunkers which are total aids
its a high-ground camping spot thats hard to take shots at, i mean yeah i guess thats what the purpose a mg bunker serves in real life but its not really fun to play against in a cod map lol

also i have no idea why but somebody decided itd be a good idea to make it really hard to see the people inside the bunker if ur looking from the outside, especially if youre far away, while the people in the bunker have perfect visibility
its really easy for them to kill u before you even notice the dark figure moving god i hate it
idk how it looks in the normal game because i play with the fps booster in iw4x but i really doubt its any better
and its really easy for the person in the bunker to get in cover instantly if they get shot, while the person outside is probably gonna get raped instantly after they even try to shoot at the bunker guy
ya there is the path from the grassy side u can use to get in the bunker but its so tight that its really easy for the camper inside the bunker to deny anyone trying to get from there
you can kill them eventually if you try hard enough to i guess, but it doesnt make it any less cancer
oh and theres the adjacent bunker which is really underrated, i think it may be better than the other one but people just dont realize lol, i rarely go into the bunkers when i play that map cause i dont suck enough dicks but when i do its that one
and now im remembering i did actually get a care package on that map and it was because of that bunker so yeah
overall, it feels like the whole map is just completely designed around sniper faggotry so any other kind of playstyle is not fun to play with, smgs are borderline useless and with ars it just comes back to whoever sees who first, and u need to use an accurate one at that. the most ull get out of it is winning fights in the sides of the map but its not really much fun either to be walking around in them, just as bad as getting sniped in the middle
so it really gimps you and forces u to use certain weapons to do well and i dont think thats good in a map

like i said before for some reason i dont really mind it that much still
which might come down to the masochism i have with cod but eh, i cant even really get that out of it
its not exactly like rust, where its so fucking terrible that u have to embrace the aids and enjoy it for that
in afghan its more like that torture method where they dip you in water with a rope and out of it over and over again
like you get too many glimpses of hope instead of being bombarded with cancer, its gonna make you think ur okay for a second before you go back to being killed from the other side of the map, i swear ive never had a map question my abilities in a game more than this one
oh well, either way, i used to really wanna die whenever afghan came on and i still do but its less than before
at least its still a bit of fun to set tactical inserts inside the airplane in the middle that people rarely go into, or sit on some rocks near the cave entrances because people rarely look up
oh and its one of those maps where if anyone gets a chopper gunner then u cant play anymore so that sucks
if you know how it feels like to instantly stop actually trying to play once you see a map loading then then i get that in this one
anyway idk maybe its just me
cause i still see people doing good in this map somehow
do they know something i dont and am i just really bad at mw2 i dont know
maybe but u probably have to be really gay to do good at this map so i guess its okay that i cant
u know now im thinking next time i play in it, like a few months from now probably, im just gonna bunker camp cause i dont care this shithole doesnt deserve any better
o well i dont think i explained very well what i hate about it, but im gonna leave it at that
my overall rating is - map that makes me wanna uninstall the game after the match is over/10
im gonna get some tea then lay down and read something for a bit then maybe go for another one or just sleep lol

i really hate wanting food at 3 am
the only thing to eat is cereal and i would go for it but im scared the milk is warm
i bought the carton today and although its been several hours im really not sure that its gotten cold enough
if i had cereal with warm milk i would feel bad for the rest of the duration im awake
i can have spread chocolate but i still find it too much effort to make it for myself
ig i just gotta go for it
after cereal i could have tea and sunflower seeds or corn or something idk

why dont i just skip to the tea and corn part
plus even if the milk is cold i feel like i shouldn't have it
cause we only have a single carton of milk and somebody else might wanna have some of it

i want it enough that i can go through the effort to make some
but now im remembering that the bread i bought today is kind of stale
and i really only enjoy spread chocolate if the bread is soft, otherwise its just terrible, not only cause of the texture but i hate having to eat over a tissue or whatever cause of the crumbs
oh and the same issue, if i have this it might not leave enough bread for everybody to have at breakfast tomorrow
idk why but the more i think about it the less i want things
my mouth watered a little thinking about the chocolate a bit ago and now im feeling like i dont even want it
i really should just have the cereal
its fair cause i really doubt anyone is gonna go through that much milk tomorrow, it should be okay to have a bowl
maybe i should just starve a bit and have a burger tomorrow idk

I had to get back on the computer because I remembered that I can't have cereal in bed. (I actually did a couple times, but it's just really uncomfortable to do. I had to stretch out and keep leaning into the table beside my bed every time I wanted a scoop, and at that point it becomes more comfortable to just have it by the computer. I think that if you got a tray it would be possible to have it in bed properly, but I don't know, I feel like it'd just be a bad experience because the bowl would spill around the tray. And, yes, the purpose of the tray is to keep the spill in it, so that shouldn't be a problem, but if the milk was spilling around in the tray I just wouldn't be able to enjoy the cereal properly. It's just a bad look. I'm pretty sure it's fair enough to not wanna eat in a messy way. Though, now that I think about it, I guess the milk just wouldn't spill if you're simply careful? It's not like you're going to be moving your legs or hips much while sitting in bed. I don't know what I was thinking, then. But I still wouldn't do it. Just sounds like too much of a bother to put the bowl on a tray, and everything. Which is probably because of it feeling unfamiliar. Imagine if you started eating in another room all of a sudden while having your meals in a single one throughout your entire life. Switching from eating cereal in the desk to having it from bed would be sort of like that. Would feel unnatural, I guess. I think I may be overthinking it. I'm just gonna continue having cereal on the desk. Oh, but if I ever get to have soup again, I'm definitely going to give having it from a bed a try. I always wanted to have soup from bed.)
I also forgot to get the corn, but now I feel too lazy to go the kitchen again for it.
Now, I think I'll just get back in bed and read. Probably gonna want to sleep before typing about any more maps, but whatever.

so ya i would just feel too judged if i tried to have one
if i could order itd be a different story but yeah
and on top of that, i would just get hungry again by later in the day so it would honestly be a waste
because in my eyes, if i get a hamburger and then have something for dinner later then the burger really feels like a waste
youre supposed to have that be the big meal for the day and not need anything else after, you know?
but yea if i have the burger too soon in the day then i just wont be able to help having something for dinner also
so much preferably i would wanna have a burger by like 5 pm or so, maybe even 4 actually

there is the effort factor
lighting an incense would mean getting up, getting one, going all the way to the kitchen for a lighter, struggling a little to get the incense in this tiny hole you have to place it in, then bringing it back
while opening the balcony door is just getting up and then laying back down after 2 seconds
that really does make a difference
oh i wonder if itd be dumb to have the door open and an incense burning at the same time
the smoke would go right out i guess but eh, shouldnt matter if its right next to me
i bet the fresh air and incense mixing would make a really cool smell actually
now im curious about this and it's enough to make me wanna bother
ill even have another cup of tea so its going to be a perfect mood goddamn i cant wait to have enough energy to get up
also i wish i could have walks in the night without getting nervous every time i see people in empty streets
cause i start thinking theyre gonna kill me or something, especially if its a group

but oh well i feel like you could have it be cool in the right environment
oh and also, it didn't really do anything special when i opened the door while the incense was burning
the fresh air really overpowered the incense, so it was like it wasnt even there
at least when i closed the door the incense got strong for a bit
but now im back to not even smelling it
i think my sense of smell might genuinely be fucked up cause i never pick up on smells that people talk about
anyway
its cool sucking at simple things
because then you get to feel good really easily
when i chopped up cucumbers for the first time i felt like a god
and whenever i make a sandwich for myself i get that "youre a grown up now" feeling
it takes me back to that feel of finally being able to fill a cup of water by urself when you were little
and this is probably not okay for an eighteen year old to be thinking lol

maybe not exactly drowsy idk, i just start getting uncomfortable, imagine that feel when youre in class and listening to a lecture you really dont care about in a chair youve not gotten up from in several hours, something like that
but ya i literally cant do it unless im forced to. i guess theres no need to overthink it, its just that the bed is better than the chair lol simple as that
phones are kind of shitty yeah but i feel bad for anyone who refuses to use them for some reason because being in the bed with your phone is so so so so nice for so many things

like am i supposed to think u have some dignity for not using a phone while you stare at the monitor for hours every single day

that might be the morning non-appetite speaking though (probably not a word but it is now. its really annoying. i cant have breakfast for a couple hours or so after waking up because i just dont feel even the slightest of an appetite, despite knowing that i must be hungry. im curious if its a thing that happens to everybody or if i actually have an issue here? i guess it works out if i wanted to eat later in the day but i might just give up on a burger altogether by then idk. maybe i should, i mean, i kinda want one, but i do feel like it cant be good that im spending this amount of money, what if it eventually catches up? though now that im talking about burgers im starting to want one anyway. ehh, god, i wish i hadnt realized i could get a burger in a 15 minute walk instead of 30, now i cant get myself to eat elsewhere because i will constantly have the excuse of the burger place being nearer, im just simply not going to be able to bother when that's the case. oh well. i guess ill just wait until i wake up properly and see if the non-appetite is gone by then, ill probably just end up getting the burger. oh, i wish i could get myself to try and order something new in any way, but im just too shy to ask for anything other than the exact same order im used to getting, i bet theres something good i can ask for to make it more worth going, but i can't even bother to figure out what let alone finally ask for it. i guess im just going to have my same burger, fries and onion rings until i die.)

Had to get out of bed. I would say it sucks, but, not really. The start of the day always feels nice still. A factor to that is how all the music I listen to feels fresh again, because usually by the end of a day I've listened too much and so everything loses a bit of it's energy because of it. That refreshes whenever I sleep and wake up, so, that's nice. (I should probably look for new music to sort of remedy that. But I'm too shy to.)
Anyhow. Eating this potato bread thing again. It's pretty nice, especially alongside tea. Like pretty much everything. Glad I didn't have breakfast before.
Unfortunately, it just doesn't fill me up that much, I usually order two of these to make up for that, but not this time. I'll probably get hungry again by dinnertime, and that sucks. I don't wanna eat again. I guess I'll just have cereal when the time comes.
Or, will I still have a hamburger later in the day? Prooooooooobably not? I don't feel it right now, but that's likely because I'm not hungry anymore. But I think by the time that changes, it'll be too late in the day to go get a burger anyway. I guess that's good.
Thing is, I don't know, it's weekend. I'll be needing to go to school again in two days. That means today is the last of that special grace period, because tomorrow I'll be worrying too much about it being the last day before school. All of this is greater in effect when I've been skipping for two weeks.
Anyway. What that means I should treat myself. And the only way I know of doing that is buying a burger. If I convince myself that I deserve it somehow, then I can't be against getting one. Even if it's dumb to. (It's just too costly.)
But, oh well. No need to keep thinking about it. I'm not going to get a burger.
In fact, not for this whole next month. Because I've really been ruining burgers for myself. Ever since I managed to build up the courage to get them, I've been having one at least once every two weeks. Which isn't nice.

People in their mid-fifties? I guess they'd like it, yeah, but I can't think of a reason that anybody normal would. And people who do it professionally, they likely just have mental illness.
I feel like it's one of the things that are definitely going to be lost in time. There probably won't be a single bowling alley around in the future. Do you see people deciding that they wanna hang out in a bowling alley, two or even a single generation ahead?

It seriously is the lamest shit possible. Even golf sounds better than bowling. At least with golf, it's not the exact same thing every single time, you can have different angles and lengths to deal with which shake things up a little bit, there's some variety to it. And golf is still really shitty, so, it says a lot that it's better than bowling.
Really, all you do is throw a ball straight, and go "oooh" in your mind when it makes a few sticks tip over. And that's it. Over and over again. The "oooh" probably doesn't even happen after the fifth or so time you do it, and that's all bowling is.
I'll give it credit still, it could be okay for those 15 minutes that you play it and give you a bit of satisfaction from doing it well, but people genuinely have this as a "hobby" and get together in groups to have bowling nights and whatnot.
Just how do you think about all the things you could do with friends, and settle on bowling?
You swing a ball across the floor three times or something, and then sit down for another few minutes or so as you watch everybody else do the same thing, and then you get to do it again. Wow.
It's still shitty as a competition sport, because who gets excited about being the most competent at swinging a ball across the floor?
Bowling is so boring, that I think doing nothing and sitting around would be less boring. I can barely think of things that are more dull. Your brain should be incapable of being stimulated by bowling after passing the age of seven.
More power to people who do enjoy going bowling, but it's not like that's because bowling is actually any good of an activity, more so because it's just what they've gotten used to doing with their clique of fifty-year old drinking buddies, and they hang out in their designated bowling alley because it's simply what they do. It has to be a background activity.

Honestly, if you did actually enjoy bowling, then why would you go to a bowling alley for it? Think about it. If you have fun with bowling, then it's because you like slinging balls at things and feeling good about it, which I suppose could be an appeal to some. So, why wouldn't you just buy a bowling ball of your own, some things that you could hit with it, hell, alongside things that you can reuse you should also get a bunch of fruit or glass bottles, they'd explode once you hit them with the ball and all, that'd be cool and add a little bit of the flavor that bowling needs.
Anyway, yeah, just get some objects and go outside somewhere where nobody will bother you, and have your fun throwing the ball at them. Or, I guess you need a special surface that bowling alleys have for the ball to roll properly? Who cares? Just swing the thing towards at the stuff you want it to hit, have it fly through the air and hit them, wouldn't that actually be way more fun that having it roll down through the ground? Granted, I guess it would make you tired, but whatever, you're even getting some exercise then, works out.
You should be throwing the bowling ball through the air at stuff, not rolling it. That's always what I felt like doing when playing marbles as a kid. Imagine throwing a bowling ball full force and breaking a bunch of lined up shit with it. Infinitely more fun.
But, at the end of the day, maybe you should just go shooting instead. I'm pretty sure that whoever likes throwing heavy things at objects and seeing them break would enjoy a shooting range.
That's all I've to say about bowling, I think. Bugged me for a while.
I need tea, something to play, might ramble about MW2 maps some more later.

i never understood why people praise it so badly, idk if its for anything other than nostalgia honestly, its like the people that play it only play terraria cause they did years ago and have already sunk hours into it so they might as well, i wonder how many people u can find that have only recently started playing it lol
personally i dont know how you have fun with it after passing the age of 8
but to give it credit, it was fun when i was about 8 and playing multiplayer from my moms phone internet
and it felt pretty damn cool when you gave yourself an excalibur with cheats i guess
just never been my kind of thing cause it feels like after you play it for an hour youve played the whole game
whenever i sat down with people to try playing it, thats how it felt and i had no idea what to do after a bit
sometimes even after only 15 minutes lol, just making a house and getting bored
i think the longest playthrough i had with anybody mustve been only several hours
which is cause at the very least its still an okay game to have on the background while youre rambling about whatever
ill give it that even though i feel like theres still better games for that too, but eh maybe its even fun to build together in it but idk why you wouldnt just do that in a 3d game instead
someone i know said before that they just like the aesthetics of terraria better and enjoy making your character look cool but i dont get that at all lol makes zero sense to me
i see its artstyle as pretty much the same as minecraft in the feel i get from it
it doesnt really have much of a style of its own, its all dependent on what u make
i guess one difference being that you have more of a variety of different looking stuff to build with in base terraria vs base minecraft (actually idk i know they added a fuckton of blocks last i heard i havent looked though)
but with minecraft its a 3d environment and i feel like that has to be objectively better for building purposes

first time seeing anything like that and i think it looks pretty cool
the texture on its surface is like a plastic bag for some reason its all kind of wrinkly but also smooth and u notice it more in certain parts
overall i would like to walk on it but i bet that would be a bad idea
other than that it gives me the idea that its pretty cold out here and that's why i can barely move my fingers right now maybe
not really bad though and i kind of like freezing as long as im not trying to sleep or focus on something ig, for walks especially i think it just feels safer for some reason, when its summer im way more on edge and the outside seems hostile
oh and i really like wearing coats and hoodies so that helps

i think my hand was completely numb and i had to sit down on a bench to figure out how to move it
that was pretty nice and i wanna feel it again though i don't think ill be outside long enough right now for that
i mean its nothing that special but i dont get to experience many feelings at all so im desperate for something
id also like a really bad nightmare or a sickness to put me in bed for a week or two
oh one thing i dont like about the cold though is how runny ur nose gets
it would be okay if i had tissues but i don't
and i cant be bothered to go get some from a store
if i do its gonna have to be from a table in a food place i like snatching a bunch of tissues sometimes

i couldnt get up to charge it yesterday so it died but it got like 10 percent by itself at an internet cafe and thats enough for me to listen to music on the way back home
its just cool
another thing is how i didnt have to put my pyjamas back on when home
cause i wore my pants over it
its nice that it keeps you warmer but i feel like skipping the step of dressing back once home is the best part about it

i bet that's a thing in the us imagine thinking you suffer there
i would try something like stocking up on 20 cartons or something and emptying them all into a container but eh i guess there just wouldn't really be a point to it
and theres no way im going to be able to resist drinking them the second i buy a batch
though overall i should treat myself to more of them
i have waaay too much allowance and although i should save up i guess it wouldn't hurt to spoil myself on my milk addiction

which is like every single dream i can recall from lately
and thats weird cause its not like ive been spending much of my time at all playing stuff, i probably barely clock 10-20 hours per week or two nowadays, lost interest in pretty much every game throughout 2022, i guess i would spend time with it if there was just something i could play comfortably and wasnt garbage but there isnt lol, not one that my computer can run at least. i found tarkov to be fun but its just hard to invest myself to playing it when i can only do so by going to an internet cafe for it, which costs money (those places are starting to get really expensive like the price of two meals for 4-5 hours of playtime goddamn) and needs me to bother going + i can only play at a certain time of the day so no staying up nights playing which reaaaallly sucks. itd be a fun game to be good at given enough practice but the combination of all those things makes me not wanna bother at all.
beyond that though idk i dont feel like playing it even when i have the opportunity to, both because i got burnt out on the game maybe and cause all my friends stopped playing it, no question i wouldve loved playing it if i got to with people but i can only solo so eh. thing is with the game i only had that much fun in one of the maps because its one where you can do well without needing to go in with good enough gear, in the other ones u get raped otherwise, but ya when thats the only thing thats really fun to solo in the game i guess it gets boring. i have the game installed on a flash drive still so i couldve played it anytime when skipping these past 3 weeks but i chose not to, i guess that says enough. maybe if there werent wipes i would bother actually but i cant really be bothered to play it from level 1 now
although ive been getting into one certain game but whatever thats too recent to really say much

in my dreams as a kid it showed up a lot more often and whenever my dream was about to end i opened up the main menu to that game and pressed quit
not everytime i guess but when things like my arm getting cut off happened so i was basically rage quitting out of the dream
related to that i used to keep having dreams where i gave the wrong amount of money in a store or something and so they cut off one of my limbs as a punishment like a cartel video
i think thats why ive always only been able to go the places im familiar with and anything new makes me uncomfortable, cause i think im gonna mess something up and get punished badly for it or something, and even with the ones im okay with i cant help but get a bit tense still, although thats been easing up nowadays ive generally been more confident with everything so thats nice i guess, but i think more than me being confident its just that ive stopped caring. oh but at the same time i hate going to the same places too much, cause i really dislike the people there recognizing me in any way, i really really dont want anything to do with them, not even being in their memory, and i always feel judged and all so yeah

i was streaming the game for a friend and it ran at too low fps
so i went into the options to turn off the anti-aliasing
and for some reason doing that turned it into another game
which was basically a corrupted version of a wwe game

i was thinking id play some anomaly when i woke up
ironman cause i dont feel like spending much time
granted it actually runs this time when i try to play it
i have no idea why it messed up last time, ran as if i spawned 200 trucks from the debug menu (which is actually really fun to do whenever i get bored i just open up anomaly and start spamming entities everywhere, though it doesnt get too bad until you really start fucking things up and ive very rarely had it crash, and i guess its a testament to how amazingly optimized the game is i think thats one thing everybody has to give it credit on, without getting tampered with by mods and all i dont think i can recall a single real technical issue ive had playing anomaly, it also both ran at an okay fps in my shitty laptop while still looking really pleasing honestly, its a big problem ive with gaming nowadays is that nothing is as optimized as it should be and anomaly is probably the best of it ive seen, which is sad considering its a mod for a decade old series) and it doesnt have the signature amount of crashes that stalker mods tend to have, maybe cause i was running it through mo idk
ill have a single life run and annotate my adventure itll be fun
or ill open the game play for two seconds and decide that i dont want to ill see

its not hard or anything but i just dont like expending the energy idk
i might get a bowl of roasted corn instead
but idk i dont feel like i have those because i particularly like them i just do because theres nothing else you know
i mean they are okay still its not bad as a background snack but its not almonds or sunflower seeds
plus they leave behind this aftertaste that i dont really like, it takes a bit to get it to go away
and on top of that it makes my room smell like corn which i cant say that i like even though i dont usually get bothered by that kind of stuff, idk why but that particular smell it has doesnt make me very happy when i catch it, to say the least
also on top of that too it gets your fingers dirty when ur eating somewhat like chips, but i think even more so actually, i feel like you can be careful while eating chips and avoid that but with that corn it feels like it gets everywhere with one touch and the smell definitely catches on really easily as well
if ur eating them as youre playing or something then youre gonna have to constantly clean ur fingers so that makes it uncomfortable, at that point i guess you should just have sunflower seeds instead i bet thats even less effort
its not much of a factor while youre just watching something but even then i simply dont like the feeling i get from it
also i guess its one of those things that arent that good when you have too much of it by itself
its way better when its mixed in with a bowl of other various things and blends in
anyway
