>>16795503I studied Arabic in Beirut Lebanon for a summer for my graduate school program - then flew to Jordan and took the Palestinian crossing into the West Bank to see what it was like. I spent a week backpacking through Israel after my classes in Lebanon ended.
They detained me for 8 hours at the check point and pulled the whole good cop bad cop routine and interrogated me. They somehow knew a lot about me. I had to give them my full itinerary in the country and tell them every person I knew in Israel, etc. They finally let me go and slap a sticker on my passport that started with the number 6. I found out later this indicates someone deemed to be the hugest threat level. In retrospect it makes since as I was a young male traveling alone who lived in Lebanon for a summer then directly came to Israel via the palestinian crossing. I guess I get why it’s sketchy.
But what really pissed me off was getting interrogated and STRIP SEARCHED twice while at the airport trying to LEAVE the damn country. They stripped me to my underwear and put me in a booth and some fat kike rubbed his hands all over my body with plastic gloves then they put it in a machine to check for explosive powder. I almost missed my flight despite showing up like 6 hours in advance.
