>>168519I would mix up a big cup of metamucil when I was trying to be healthy and it felt good to have clean bowels but I've been too lazy lately to be healthy so I'm not the biggest example of what could be achieved. I'm 187 lbs now which is still better than my worst, but my diet is shit and unfocused. If you're committed to losing weight, don't stop. Keep exercising. I went a whole year hovering at around 140lbs without doing much else other than eating vegetarian and walking everywhere and dancing in bars for mad sweats.
You can lose weight. If you're really tired of it, which you say you are, you need to do start some sort of schedule that allows you to exercise on top of maintaining a healthy diet.
One trick a fat man told me once is that in order for him to lose weight, he'd only eat from the salad bar at restaurants and avoid the dressings because he could get full on greens and they wouldn't hold him back later in the day.
I don't eat eggs or meat anymore so I can't follow in my own footsteps but I'm hoping I at least get to cycling more this year. It's nice to feel skinny. It just is. It's one less thing to worry about.
Plus if you make it the whole way through and lose enough that you feel comfortable, you'lre then given the opportunity to purchase an entirely new wardrobe. Just new look, new haircut, new everything. New you. There's a lot in store for the person who's had enough of being overweight.
I've seen friends lose more than me just by eating right and exercising but my method was surprisingly quick. I can't give you exact statistics now because it was 9 years ago, but exercising works, and bicycles are a treat.
If you do decide to cycle tho, make sure the frame is the right size for you and your seat is at the height which lets your legs extend fully without being too uncomfortable. So often I see people on bikes with their knees bent and it makes me uncomfortable because I know that they're straining more than necessary.
