Bad ukies counter attack. There's like no mat disciplineru anymore. When you are demonstrating something, you are doing it to teach and ukies pride needs to be squished. You only punch sensei as hard as you can when not teaching (not going all out on higher belts shows lack of respect especially when higher belts explicitly tell you to attack them).
