Putting aside all bullshit and in an attempt to honor the letter rather than the spirit of this shitpost, my favorite western, The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance. It has its own politics I happen to disagree with, but I still love it. It roots for the left wing, and careful viewers will see how this is not so subtlety presented, but it is a shining example of the genre, and a shining example of what the left wing might have been in America.
