If you went completely feral, I'm talking frothing at the mouth, howling with hatred, insensate with homicidal aggression, no longer in conscious control of your own actions, and had your choice of a sharp hatchet or ironshod cudgel at hand, how many average, unarmed dudes do you think it would take to subdue you? For the sake of expediency, we'll say this is happening in a Dairy Queen parking lot, the police were distracted by a bomb threat and are about twenty minutes away at best, and there's several dozen bystanders nearby, but they aren't brave enough to rush in more than one every five seconds or so. For the sake of the ethicists among us, we'll handwave it and say these bystanders are all, by sheer chance, wearing political apparel you find abhorrent, not carrying any firearms, and are loudly detailing how they want to do horrible, sadistic and sexual things to you and your loved ones. For the sake of egotists, we'll say there's a panicked news crew that was having lunch and is now catching live, crystal-clear footage of the most bizarre brawl and/or massacre of the year so far.
