I'm not sure why he does this. I have set up multiple nice places for him to sleep but it often seems like he prefers the grungiest spots he can find. I think he likes getting a little dirty so that I will get his brush and use it to clean him. But I mean, what am I going to do? Not clean him so that he stops being encouraged to do that? He's terrible at doing it himself so I don't really have a choice. At least he stopped sleeping on the toilet.
