1. platonic solids

plato, after whom they are named, described the platonic solids in his work "timaeus"
he attributed the 4 classical elements to each of them:

tetrahedron being fire
octahedron being air
hexahedron or cube being earth
icosahedron being water

the dodecahedron being the fifth element, the quintessence (quint=5), it contains all the other platonic solids, and each of them can be constructed from it. it is the highest essence
