Probably Vice City because of the insane amount of 80's nostalgia. I'm always flooded with it every time I play, I could drive around Vice City just listening to every soundtrack for hours, the game is simply beautiful to me, and the closest I'll get to "reliving" my childhood.

Probably Niko Bellic, I thought the slavic shit was something different and cool as fuck. He had a great background as well.

Did you know that they had the guy who created Online, Leslie Benzies, was given a paid sabbatical by the Houser Brothers just to have and his employees fired without him knowing? He tried coming back about a year later after the sabbatical just to find out that his card doesn't let him into the office, the security guard let him, and the executives came down to the ground floor and told him that Sam Houser doesn't want to see him?

Why did they do that? Because they wanted his $150M share of micro transaction revenue and because he placed his name in the credits of GTAO instead of Sam's, and Sam got incredbily pissy over it even though he wanted literally nothing to do with Online as he thought it would fail, only to instantly change his mind once he saw the kids buy the shark cards (microtansactions) in droves.

There are also the absured prices, the shitty AI that's intentionally overpowered and broken, supposed "ownable businesses" being literally the same format as mobile app games to make you wait days for upgrades or pay an absurd amount of money to speed it up. It's just way too much.

Trevor Philips is my favorite character because I can sort of relate to his degenerate behavior.
Ive played GTAVs story multiple times and play GTAO from time to time. I'm aware of their Jewery, but I'll be damned if I'm spending 50$ irl for a damn club house, so I just figured out a way to only join heist finals and just grind those.
As long as they're not shitty money makers, yeah.

Ah, but did you also know that they essentially abandoned Singleplayer's promised DLC and stopped adding content to it?

They scrapped it, made all the new vehicles starting from September 2015 into Online-exclusive and made most of them cost millions. Let's not forget that they only patch money glitches and dupe glitches and do absolutely nothing to game breaking glitches and exploits.

Played lots of single player V, played a bit of GTAO when it came out but it's easily my least favorite part - it feels like they told a bunch of people who never played an MMO to make one. And yes, I'm aware of what they're doing.

Well, it wasn't a perfect portrait of São Paulo at all. They mixed things up with Rio de Janeiro, which has fairly different culture. Also, it irritates me how every person speaks bad language out of every sentence. Anyway, my problem with MP3 isn't only the setting, but the poor characters, storytelling and how shallow the whole game is as well. Anyway, it's a shame since MP1 and MP2 are such great titles
