Just read Genesis. I am pretty smart so here are some takeaways.
>God often says "Let us do X or Y" and I suspect the "us" is angels. Angels are God's direct helpers and messengers.
>Joseph in the jail says interpreting dreams and numerology is God's domain. Seers, dividers, dream interpreters and the like run afoul of the old testament.
>the breath of life was given to man through the nostrils, because the mouth is filthy. Even during the flood, all the animals drowned and the breath left their nostrils.
