i hate my sister and her cat
she sometimes just stops taking care of the cat and i loathe her for getting one without taking responsibility for it. she's yelling at it right now as if it knows english. all she wants is an emotional support animal that she smothers when she feels alone, and not everything else that comes with it. i don't claim the cat as my own because she always goes to my sister and only comes to me for when my sister neglects her. i took care of this little shit for a month when my sister was gone, playing with her and making sure she was well fed and happy, but the instant the month ended, she was back in my sister's arms, and only ever came to bother me for food or play time. the meowing is incessant. it's driving me crazy because one morning she did it for hours while i was sleeping and it made me fucking angry.
i hate my sister and her cat.

it's a fucking bad situation. never try and put yourself in my shoes because i feel as though i am being pushed to emotional extremes where it's easier to make bad decisions.

in my opinion cats were never meant to live in houses, they're cool to have around and everything but they don't have such a strong bond with humans
i keep my kot in the attic, he keeps mice away and is nice to hang out with and pet, free to roam wherever he wants, but i don't have a strong connection and responsibility for him like my dog
having a cat exclusively inside your house is miserable for both the cat and owner, it's just not what they are meant for

i whole heartedly agree. i mean, some people can make it work, but i am definitely not one of these people. add on top of that, the already building mental anguish and stress asserted onto me by that sister who seems to never learn how to leave me alone, and you have a recipe for disaster. i am fucking fuming, and i don't wanna be angry. i wanna enjoy my life and stop having to deal with this shittiness because i am not capable of dealing with it without being pushed to my limits. i am too sensitive inside to not become like this. i need to calm down, and pray to god i will because i will make mistakes if i don't.

cats are independent animals that get along with humans, unlike dogs which live alongside and befriend humans
when you keep a cat in your apartment you have to cuck to its every need that it would otherwise provide for itself
cats would much prefer hunting mice in a barn than to live in a house it's whole life chasing some toy on a string and shitting in a litter box
i never understood why people put both themselves and their cats through such hassle like that
