Maybe, but as above so below. Hell in this physical life is the absence of God. The further one strays from God the more of an unfillable hole they have inside them and the more miserable their life. Drugs, pornography, consoomerism, undue affection (possessive 'love'), etc, etc... are all vain attempts to fill that hole with worldly things and never lead to actual fullness, usually it leads to disorder. It is only in the desire to reconcile the unbalanced equation that one will find the truth of God, and in turn Jesus Christ, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and the forgiveness that leads to fullness.
