Sometimes I think reincarnation really is the way. Our soul is essentially an infinite hard drive and everytime we die that information is downloaded to the singular consciousness we all come from and we are sent back in. Could be that our current timeline is the furthest the simulation was allowed to progress before breaking. Could also be that each of us are singular identities that are field tested before being allowed to live our true life (maybe the one we see on DMT) amongst the others that succeeded. We could be in a stress testing phase prior to completion to see just how resilient we are.
Suicide could be a bad line of code that gets excised. Murderers, rapists, adulterous, or other broken souls don't get accepted into the host at the end.
