>>16922690yeah, exactly. it sucks that people keep milking these franchises for so many movies, but it's really unfair to say old movies are better because there's 60 years worth of only the greatest hits to compare to whatever is in the theater literally just today. shawshank redemption and the godfather are great movies, i'm sure, but they're also more than 20 years apart while don't look up and your name both released within the past 10. that's not to say that old movies can't be good, but i think people really fetishize the fact that they're old specifically and refuse to accept anything new as being comparable unless it's a director's magnum opus
new enough to bass that i wanted to sit with the strings i had even if i didn't like them just to let the opinion solidify. turned out a good idea too since i eventually realized i'd also probably prefer strings with higher tension
