>>16929834>Turks inherited most of that from Iranic peoples and some from Arabs, not from Greeks. This kinda feeds into my point though. If you compare the height of Turkish vs. height of Greek culture it's cope to say Turks came close in art, culture or philosophy.
>economyYou're right that Turkish industry is more expansive. Of course, Turks did not help Greece's economy with high taxes during the Ottoman centuries. Also, in addition to Ottoman occupation, 2 Balkan wars, 2 world wars and a civil was fought on greek territory well as a debt crisis definitely held the economy back. And yet last I checked Greece has higher gdp per capita.
It's to be expected Turkey's economy is a little more diversified, they have about 6-8x the territory and 10x the population.
> There's nobody in the North Africa, West Asia or West Balkans who wants to specifically live in Greece.I'm not just talking about refugees, africans and balkaners, ask anyone from developed countries in the West with high standard of living already where they'd rather live between the two countries. I'm pretty sure most would choose Greece.
