I use my parents account, it took very little time to watch through everything that interested me on Netflix. Most shows suck, about half of the nature documentaries are okay, the movie selection is awful, and their originals are absolute shit.

Also, the good shit in that thing doesn't compensate the fuckton of horrible things that are also in there.
And it bothers me. Why do people like to watch a series of 7 seasons with 12 episodes each one during almost a fucking hour, I can't stand it, it gets stale... "Oh but it gets good around the fourth season" Meanwhile I could've seen something better.
And fuck me, they like to milk their series, extend it for as long as possible, fans don't matter, they consume it anyway.

Came here to say basically this. Sometimes I can find a movie that's interesting, and I'm enough of a sucker for capeshit that some of the Marvel stuff is sufficiently entertaining. But they always seem to have a lot of sequels and remakes and a real dearth of good classic shit.

Personally I don't mind if the story lasts for quite a few seasons, but I agree with mexanon that you shouldn't have to put up with 3-4 seasons of shit before it gets good.

I still live with my parents and a few years back they cut our cable in favor of netflix, and I gotta say that I really miss having cable.
watching a show on netflix just doesn't feel the same as watching it live on tv.
and not to mention it has happened to me countless times that I was watching a series on netflix, I was half way through and then netflix decides to take it down.
and even worse is the fact that if you only have netflix and there is a show currently on tv you're gonna have to wait a long ass time before you can watch it on netflix!

seriously, fuck netflix. you know there's something bad when pirate websites give you a better service
