I just got this cat 3-4 days ago from a shelter to find out it has tapeworms why would they give me a cat with untreated tapeworms? now my whole house is probably affected but especially my room with all her things in it and she would sleep in my bed so I didn’t sleep in my room and I feel bad for leaving her alone last night but I’m scared to get tapeworms from her because there is a small chance you could I’m planning to bring her to the vet and then clean everything I just feel stressed though because it came up out of no where and I’m so mad at the shelter for giving me a sick animal without bringing it up to me personally
