Cons as well, as with everything: harder on your body than sitting down in an airconditioned office, the lower threshold for intelligence can go quiteeeeee low and the chances of working evenings, nights and weekends are high in some professions that relate to infrastructure. Light, water, sewage, road repairs at night, etc
