Clarified butter (ghee) has the milk fat removed, and is low in alpha-linolenic acid which is the problematic fatty acid in seed oils (which continuously increases in content due to oxidation of oil).

Ghee is objectively better from a scientific perspective.

What makes you think this is a binary choice?

There's milkfat and butteroil. I believe some of the milkfat is removed during the process as well, since Ghee is lower in saturated fat. I could stand corrected though.

ghee is higher per volume in all types of fat that occur in butter, including saturated fat, because the protein and carbs are removed so it is more concentrated

When food shortages hit Canada, Seed oil was one of the things that vanished and only the Gourmet oils in overly expensive tiny bottles were left . Rather than fight over them like the normies did with Toilet paper -- I walked around to the baking isle and bought blocks of lard .

I did use avocado oil but I used it too infrequently to make it worth buying a bottle, and I found its stronger flavour intrusive.

I used olive and sunflower oil and will continue using them until I die. These oils aren't some new age chemically extracted oils full of cancer in fact if you had raw ingredients you could make such oils yourself really easy. My great-grandmother used to extract sunflower oil back in the day herself, it's a simple process that doesn't require anymore more than a press and some muscle.

It's about balance probably, anon, as with most things. If your diet is healthy and you have plenty of other sources of omega 3 to offset the seed-oil emphasis on omega 6 then its impact would probably be irrelevant.
It's only because cheap poor quality seed oil is used in tonnes of pre packaged consumer food that its likely an issue.

sunflower seed oil is created using an industrial process. If you make it at home, good for you. The store bought stuff is not the same.

Olive oil is fine if it's COLD PRESSED, e.g. not extracted using chemical solvents.
