because less talent goes to voice acting in the english speaking world, while everywhere else there is more of an incentive since people usually watch dubbed shit. especially in countries like france or germany.

you have to get the dialogue to match the characters expressions and tone of voice so it comes off as weirdly worded. also anime is very exaggerated and weird to begin with

it's not like it matters in anime since they usually animate the speaking as simplistically as possible, so you have the most freedom in synchronisation as compared to other mediums like american cartoons

in some I guess but there’s plenty of others that are more animated and all over the place. So you have English translation and voice acting trying to match Japanese sentence structure and what’s happening on screen while still getting the point across and making sense. I can’t speak for other languages but that’s my take on English dubbing

yeah, and that's also a problem with subbing (the only difference is that you dont have to give a fucking about intonation) and manga paneling (which part of the dialogue belongs in which speech bubble, without it sounding stupid?)

I think it is because the english dubbing industry is bad. Most movies come from America so there are much more people dubbing in other countries than America. English speakers generally don't need to dub because English is the native language of most of the popular movies and TV shows. Also modern TV and Movies actors are so fucking shit at enunciating their words that you need to turn closed captions on anyways so we are already used to it.
