My boiler is broken so I had to take a "cold shower".

You simply adapt and get used to it. After a month or so, i could literally spend 10 minutes in a cold shower and it started to feel amazing. That's the point where you stop taking cold showers and take a break for 3 months or so because it has lost all its benefits at that point.

I pour a bucket over my head first, something SEA people like to complain about, saying it is a staple of being poor, but is actually benefiting them.
You get used to the cold water and I used to take "ice cold" showers and they didn't bother me after a week or so.
But it's best to use the temperature I mentioned earlier.
