That being said once you stretch your scalp the minox is not being used to save your hair, its being used to regrow new hair.
In the normal hair regrowth "process" the entire scalp is under constant tension and lack of blood flow. minox triggers some regrowth by acting as a vasodilator causing needed bloodflow. It also triggers hairgrowth in other ways, but the vasodilator aspect is the reason if you stop your hair falls out again. If your scalp isnt under tension anymore you no longer need that aspect, youre only using it for its growth trigger.
Its why when people use minox to grow beards they dont need to apply it every day or they lose their beard, that growth is permanent.
