I went to bed around 11:30 or so and I was looking at my tablet or something and I heard this beeping sound. It was coming from this old alarm system we got but had stopped paying for the service years ago. It sometimes beeps like that so I got up and went to turn it off but I felt this weird unease about doing it. When I was walking back to my room I went past the room that has an exercise bike in it and the display was turned on. This made my blood run cold because it only turns on if someone is turning the wheels with their feet. So I ran into my bedroom and pulled the covers over my head.
