I talked to my brother and apparently that room in the house has been haunted for a long time. He woke up one night and saw a woman ironing a shirt in the room. He was so out of it he didn't know what he was seeing. The horror of it didn't hit him until a few seconds later as the image dispersed.

This raises an interesting question about hauntings. What is haunted? Is a haunting a layer of consciousness left over like a slime binding to the atoms of the room? It seems it could be such.
