i still believe in the aether. It still hasn't been disproved yet, only one specific theory of luminiferous aether has a small bit of evidence against it. And the aether is a lot more plausible than the theories going through modern physics like dark matter and dark energy, supersymmetry, strings, proton decay, gravitons, and lots more too.
It's also easy to understand, the empty space in the world, isn't really empty, but it is something! To me, that makes sense, since truly empty space wouldn't that be the same as no space at all?
