Much like how hiphop and dance pop is made to dumb down the urban masses, modern country is made to dumb down the rural masses
I'm not shitting you, turn on any pop country radio station and listen to music for thirty minutes; Count how much songs are about
>beer
>dancing
>trucks
>love songs
>going to the bar
>muh small town
>muh family
>muh blue collar job
Most of things are not necessarily bad things in isolation but holy fucking shit country music is creatively bankrupt
