>>1707954well, i am a citizen now. i worked there for 7 years. not to mention my uni years, and postgrad.
i am just visiting family now, and trying to bring them back to uk. you are probably aware of the shit going on here in turkey. i want my family to be safe.
the game is an ascii top down rpg, much like the adventure mode in dwarf fortress. but there are key differences:
-my game is not going to feature a procedural history generation system like dwarf fortress does, instead, i am going to try to make the world interesting and full of content.
-the game is also has a much more fleshed out combat and travel systems than dwarf fortress. it can communicate effects of hunger, thirst, injuries or sleep deprivation both via in game mechanics and visually.
-and i am going to add a nice companion system, but i am yet to figure that out.
the main focus, however is the rpg system. there are numerous replies you can give npc in the game, with each answer corresponding to a different character trait, like sincere, brave or rude. these traits effect the way other npc react to you, with some refusing to talk to you altogether. it is also going to effect quests which i am yet to add.
