With the Starlink program over doubling the amount of satellites in LEO and no real plan in place to deorbit dangerous debris, the possibility of Kessler syndrome finally beginning grows day by day, almost literally with how fast SpaceX launches them in to orbit. What can be done about preventing Kessler syndrome? Im currently not actively tracking any commercial services that plan to deorbit the debris, but maybe I’m missing something? Also, should the government restrict the launch or Starlink satellites until something is done? That is if people can get the government to even begin that process. The effects or the chain reaction finally happening are almost society endingly catastrophic, something must be done.
