>>17173405>need to be treated more as an assetthat's what the retarded boomer concept of so called holy watch trinity (Audemars Piguet, Patek, Vacheron Constantin) is all about
those retarded monkeys think those brands are special (more on that further down, and that's a fucking big lol), and thus want them moar, which raises their value, which makes boomertards want them even moar, and on, and on
truth is those brands are mostly famous, because they survived the quartz apocalypse
and how did they do it?
certainly not due to their oh-so-old heritage, particularly technical prowess, or such shit
the truth is they just banded together, and asked a better movement maker (Jaeger-Lecoultre) to create a movement for them, that would be thin and tough enough to rival quartz
the outcome, the calibre 920, allowed the so called holy trinity (lol) to make popular watches that they couldn't have done on their own at the time, and helped them survive the quart shitstorm
so these manufacturers were so weak and incompetent that these characteristics made them desirable to retards
this is a well known story, but boomers are hopelessly retarded, and the only thing you can trust them with is "understanding" everything the wrongest way
not that these are shit watches, nowadays (they got better, and in a better economic shape than in the 60's), but there's nothing holy or even particular about them (well, most are downright disgusting, like the nautilus you can't even swim with, or patek's absolutely unreadable calendars, or Piguet that basically has only one model left, which is the only model boomertards will buy, anyway)
plus there are far, far, far more interesting manufacturers, like Journe or Moser
but good luck with having boomer monkeys understand that...
