If the simple and accessible chanting practices of Nichiren buddhism didn't exist i wouldn't even bother dealing with dozens of breathing exercises and hundreds of notions of metaphysical hogwash. Nobody in their sane mind would go for Hinayana or Vajrayana in the current age.
