Time's up. I got up to 7, which in all likelihood should be good enough. The start was frustratingly slow but I picked up pace toward the end. I know falling short of the 8 is disappointing to some of you and I empathize, but 7 still solidly gets the job done.
There's nothing more for me to do at this juncture. In a few hours the baton will officially pass on, and it may pass back to me afterwards, but for now all that's left for me to do is show up. Hopefully no complications.
