Modern 4chan sucks but all 4chan alternatives are either dead or worse than 4chan. Finding good 4chan threads is a matter of luck. Especially since boards for general conversations like /r9k/ are full with coomers, redditors, groomers, /pol/tards, ehoes, simps, namefags etc.

Still I don't know any other decent alive communities that will satisfy my internet dopamine and I don't want to return back to social media's cancer, especially since I prefer anonymity. Not to mention that social media are also full with /pol/tards, SJWs, dramafags etc.

People complain about discord replacing forums. I used to do that shit too. But on a second though forums already got replaced with social media and reddit at the early 2010s, way before discord. Also many forums started being crap at early - mid 2010s thanks to SJWs, dramafags, politicsfags etc.

And of course some old, good forums ended up dead long time ago, especially the ones for pirated retro games stuff like SnesOrama, FFShrine, AssemblerGames etc.
