Even 3-4 years ago I had car buddies I didn’t even know who would all race on the highway. No more of that now.
Even if you do have friends, what the fuck is there even to do? Play board or card games? Sports? Multiplayer games? I feel like everyone has just given up.
Nothing has any meaning, I’ve gone around the world, been to nature and to historical places, big events, concerts, ren fairs, nothing. I’m a business man, even the business world seems dead, I used to find people doing all kinds of things looking to collaborate or even just brag about their shit. Now it seems like everyone is stuck.
It’s Saturday night, the bars in my town are empty, the restaurants may be half full of old people. The woods far out of town have no campfires, the beach is empty. The bowling alley is empty, the highway is empty.
I could drive to Miami and it would still be devoid of things to do, night life has decreased into a lame dead mockery of it all. There is no danger or happenings anywhere, just waiting.
