If I lived in New York or in the states I would've liked to set my time aside and visit her at the hospital instead of cheering her up with emails. I wouldn't know how to behave properly in this situation, but I believe being by somebody's side will contribute to their recovery. Do people bring flowers to patients like in the movies? Anyway human beings always take precedence over jobs, school, dare I say even religious meetings.
