Woe to the fools who ignore and slander this Supreme Dharma
Cocooned within their blindness they follow inferior doctrines
And when despair seizes them, they diminish the redemptive power of the Mystic Law
Immeasurable praise goes to the brave hearers of this miraculous teaching
Their merits will outlast the sun, the stars and this universe
Behold how the boundless compassion of the Tathâgata saves all beings in the Ten Realms
No hell is too dark, no heavens are too high for the everlasting grace of the Buddha
The inarticulate sing lofty verses, the demons quell their anger, the untamed beasts are pacified
Under the guidance of the Father of the World, as they were once enraptured by Orpheus' lyre
