Most all developed nations have borrowed the US business model: stock market, investment portfolios, real estate speculation, et cetera. It's great for an expanding power, but there's hardly room to expand any more.
China and Russia haven't gone with mass importation for cheaper labour, but China hardly needs it, Chinese make great servile laborers. Every other nation has. Russia wants white people lel.
The USA has systems to compensate for the downsides of these insane strategies, they're used to diverse financial free-fall clown world insanity. Other nations, not so much. In short, every problem the USA is facing is also plaguing other countries. If the USA "collapses" or even has a bad day, the other countries aren't going to laugh at us unaffected, they'll collapse too in any 2008 or worse scenario. And in a free market, they'll all help each other up too.
