I'm sure I'm not the only one who noticed, but Jews seem to be incredibly good at debating. I am not saying anything they say in a debate is correct, but they manage to always look like the winner and make the other participant look like a fool or get lost in the arguments.
Just off the top of my head, going by debaters online, two of the best are Ben Shapiro and Sam Seder - both Jews. Sam Seder for example never lost a single debate that he has shown online.
Ben Shapiro only lost against that British guy on air, but other then that, they always come out winning in a debate even when they are completely wrong.
Seems like a cultural thing, do Jews specifically teach their kids how to debate? Is this something that goes on in Jewish schools?
