>>17294409>, they had to artificially enlarge Europe in the game's map.granted, but is not so much
>Europe's power is treated as inherent, allright, you have a point, but consider this. The development mechanics of the game, allows every region to be as developed a any other in the map, for example, Cuzco is a sweet province, the problem is, the game dont make a difference between the european technological development and the "archaic" development, Cuzco in those times, even if the city were rich as fuck, it didnt have the same level on infrastructure compared to France, it was a lonely golden city surrounded by little towns comunicated only by a single road, instead, french cities were poorer, but they were far better connected to each other, not only that, the technological advance in those were superior. But the game cant deal with that, Cuzco can became a bigger trade center than London, even if europeans arent present on the continent. Same with Africa, you can start in Uganda and conquer half of that continent and invade Italy, that would be impossible considerating the geography of that place, so horrid that only in the XIX century it was possible to explore it. Shit, australian abos
can have better fleets than Spain by 1550..... australian abos.... You can transform SIBERIA in the beacon of civilization in 1600. The game doesnt have population mechanic, so, they cant recreate the smallpox factor. They tried to balance it out with the institutions mechanics, but it was implementd badly, A fucking native nation of only 2 provinces, can sell printing machine to Netherlands
> to get to a point where they can fend off European powers in the 1600s and 1700s.the native americans are based but common, those federations were only resisting the colonial powers and trying to survive, they never had the upper hand. In EUIV they literally can destroy Portugal and even Great Britain, Spain dont even have a possibility in North America.
