Politically speaking, how has tabletop gaming impacted politics, and in turn how has politics impacted table top gaming?

Both have infected each other, making both worse in my opinion, now dnd has trannies and women and you can't get have parties be genuine friends, and now politics have faggy videogames, tiktok, dnd, influencing the current political zeitgeist, which is destroys all competency in the various governments. This same logic could be applied to any well recognized pass time, but this example specifically sticks out.
