>>1735203I had an arthroscopy today but it was only to pull out a small piece of bone that had died and detached itself, which was causing major pain as it moved around inside the joint. Yours sounds a bit more complicated but it seems to be a pretty common procedure and it doesn't take very long. As I said don't go into the hospital shitting yourself because it really isn't worth it, I'm virtually pain free still and I woke up at 1pm WST (it's 6:20pm now)
They sent me home with some good stuff though, apparently 12 hours or so after the OP when the pethidine or whatever they give you in the surgery wears off it can be a little "uncomfortable"
Hopefully these pain killers will do the job tho. Also I'm on crutches but the physio said some people only use them for a day or two, others up to a week...
