this, very much currently dealing with this, anon save yourself the trouble of a depressed GF, getting attached to them is a one way street of depression and issues, she'll only drag you down with her, until you feel almost as worthless as she does, then when something does happen to her you will be too depressed to think of the bigger picture

It took me a long time to realize this. Near the end I was just getting fed up with trying to make her feel better since it always ended with arguments.

The benefit of my particular girl though, is that she was aware of her issue and she did want to get better but found it difficult. She also did teach me a lot and is part of why I'm able to stand up and be who I am now. I was lucky that she wasn't unaware of her own situation.

I'm sure you've heard this multiple times and I know it's one of the worst things to hear but, you'd probably be best off leaving her. Talk with her about things first and try to fix issues you have with the relationship but, it often will lead to heart break anyway.

Also, I know it's incredibly hard to just up and leave someone you love but people are often right that it's for the better.
