What is the point of testimony? Ive never heard anyone's I found particularly interesting, and my own is so autistic and niche I doubt anyone would get anything out of it either (basically listened to a shitload of Bach and read a bunch of 19th century literature)

As a fairly new Baptist, this is something that makes no sense to me. I appreciate that your individual story about how you came to God is seen as a big deal to you, but because of that people get really honest in classes and bible studies about their deepest, innermost thoughts and almost everyone's is a bunch of weird schizo shit (and again, I know mine is no different).
