and his defense mechanism to any kind of social convention he violates due to not fully understanding is to double down indefinitely. that's why he will reply over and over again, when its clear it what other people want. instead of backpeddling ever, or even trying to approximate normal human behaviour he sort of exalts in ignoring it which leads to dumber and dumber behaviour, because to him his behaviour is some sort of internalized joke to himself and most other people 'don't get it'. this mentality removes him from any criticism or inward thinking because he's just that much smarter than everyone else. everyone else doesn't understand 'haha im retarded on purpose'.
