If AST is more than 3×UI and ALT is less than 2×UI then it is hepatucellular, increase or decrease in albumin indicate whether it is chronic or acute
If AST is less than 3×UI and ALT is more than 2×UI then it is cholestatic and albumin decides whether it is chronic or acute
Ultrasound and PC tests are further required to see whether it is extra or intrahepatic cholestasis
