you can just use the method of elimination and try the answers one by one? you don't even need to know math
3x + (6y) = 12
y = x + 2
3x + (6x + 12) = 12
9x + 12 = 12
9x = 0
x = 0

x=-4x+21-1
x=-4x+20
x=4

Yeah but aren't there faster, more accurate ways? Also I can't use MoE on EVERY question during the exam. I'd run out of time.

also, doy, since you have the answers given out, just plug the numbers in the two equations and if both equations are satisfied you have the correct answer

3y - 3x = 6
(add the equations together)
