After the destruction of ancient Egypt, their ancient religion was also largely lost.

In this day and age, very few people believe in this.

The Protocols of the Elders of Zion and the Nazi Party were created by the same secret society. The Egyptian Memphis-Misraim. TL;DR: The Protocols were written by a Jew (Joseph Schorst alias of Theodore Schapiro) who claimed he stole them from a Memphis-Misraim Lodge in Paris when he sold them as Intelligence to a Russian general's daughter in the 1880s. Protocols weren't "100% factual and authentic", they were a obvious false flag and limited hangout, much like the Taxil Hoax for Freemasons performed around the same time. The Nazi Party emerged as the political arm of the Thule Society, which was founded by a member of Memphis-Misraim, Baron Rudolf von Sebottendorff.
