People are pissed because the government made a fucking mess off their renewable energy plans and to quickly make up for it they just turn the edges of the country into windparks.
Downsides are plummeting real estate prices in a region with horrible housing market to begin with, at night it looks like an airfield with red blinking lights 150meter up in the sky and many people claim they can hear the turbines.
