Trolling is a subjective experience based on feelings. When trolling does not make an emotional impact on the target it simply does not get replies. If trolling is obvious it is countered with bait pictures or being called out.
A person calling you retarded doesnt mean much but multiple people replying means youre hitting a nerve.
Anything more is bonus points.
Long paragraphs demolishing your post, people getting into long winded arguments with you.
This is the only reliable way to tell if youre trolling successfully because people lie to save face. e-celebs and lolcows say they dont care about the trolls and that theyre wasting their time all the time.
